Netflix/Wal-Mart Antitrust Litigation

On January 22, 2009, MURRAY, FRANK & SAILER LLP filed a class action complaint on behalf of a plaintiff and a proposed class of purchasers of Netflix's on-line DVD rental subscriptions who allege that Netflix and Wal-Mart conspired to allocate the markets for on-line DVD rentals and for DVD sales in the U.S.  The complaint alleges that the acts of Netflix and Wal-Mart caused anticompetitive effects in the online DVD rental market.  The case was filed in the Northern District of California.  The class period is from May 19, 2005 to the present.
